Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. (Ps 127:1, ESV)
I love how this verse speaks of God both as the builder and the protector. One aspect is that without God building and protecting is in vain. But the other aspect is that what God builds He will protect!
